At 450 meters, along Corso Calatafimi, you will find the remains of the Castle of Cuba. At 800 meters, you will arrive at Piazza Indipendenza, one of the city's most important central squares, where you can admire buildings of great significance such as the Palazzo d'Orleans, the rear entrance of the Sicilian Regional Assembly leading to the Palatine Chapel, the Church of Madonna dei Rimedi, and Porta Nuova.
